Studio K.

Southport, Gold Coast

Knotwood’s Studio K in Southport, Gold Coast, is the design and technical space where ideas, materials, and finishes come together. The office was recently updated, with Knotwood cladding used throughout the space in Kuro.

Designed to replicate traditional Japanese charred wood, Kuro features a deep charcoal-black tone combined with a refined, tactile woodgrain texture. The result is a bold, minimalist finish that adds depth and definition to the studio, complementing its clean lines and material-focused design.
