Portsea.

Portsea, Victoria

Clean lines and a warm material palette give this simple Portsea home a relaxed, welcoming character. The crisp white exterior is balanced by wood-look detailing, adding warmth and breaking up the strong geometric forms of the facade.

Knotwood battens feature across the upper facade and balcony, creating a consistent architectural detail that ties the two levels together. The vertical battens provide privacy while allowing light and airflow through the balcony, while their warm wood appearance contrasts beautifully with the home’s white exterior.

The result is a simple, modern facade with plenty of texture and visual interest.
