Studio K.

Southport, Gold Coast

Knotwood’s Studio K in Southport, Gold Coast, is the design and technical space where ideas, materials and finishes come together. The office has recently had a refresh, with Knotwood cladding used throughout the space in Kuro.

Designed to replicate traditional Japanese charred timber, Kuro features a deep charcoal-black tone combined with a refined, tactile woodgrain texture. The result is a bold, minimalist finish that adds depth and definition to the studio, complementing its clean lines and material-focused design.
