Geo Structure is built from three parts. Post covers enclose an existing support post, geometric beams fasten to those covers and span between them, and battens fix across the top on brackets to form the shade. Infills and end caps close every open side and exposed end, so what shows is a finished aluminium structure with no visible fixings and nothing of the original post left on view.
The existing post is enclosed by post covers fixed around it, aligned and secured to give a neat, consistent finish. An isolating material goes between the post and the covers to prevent white rust where the two materials meet. Post covers come in three sizes, so the one that suits the post already in place is the one that gets used, and an end cap closes the top.
