Panel Battens

This is the system for large ceiling installations, where a long run of ceiling battens has to hold an identical line across an entire commercial or multi-residential space and any set-out error is visible from every angle beneath it. It also suits large commercial facades needing a consistent finish across wide spans, and soffit runs on larger structures. Primarily a specifier's product, though it works on any project where the run is long enough that setting out by hand stops being sensible.

Panel Battens share the same 6063 T6 aluminium construction and architectural-grade finishes as the rest of Knotwood's batten range, backed by a 15 year limited warranty on the finish. The solid backing panel keeps the profile line consistent over long runs where an open-back system depends on the accuracy of the set-out behind it, and the overlapping panel design also covers minor imperfections in the substrate rather than telegraphing them through the finished surface.

Four panel sizes across the 25mm and 50mm suites, compatible with the same broad batten profile range as Clip Battens, plus a dedicated starter profile and a 50mm corner angle to begin or turn a run cleanly.
