Saint Rocky's.

Set against the relaxed coastal landscape of Belongil Beach, Saint Rocky’s is a tropical modernism  Byron Bay home designed around open spaces, natural materials and an easy connection to the outdoors.

Designed by Gorrow Design Studio in collaboration with architect Rieky Jayanto Sunur and interior designer Mala Silviani, the home takes a distinctly modern tropical approach. Long, open spaces, timber, stone and warm neutral tones create a relaxed atmosphere that feels right at home by the beach.

Knotwood features across the exterior, bringing low maintenance texture and style to the architecture. The system is used across the batten facade, screening, garage door and awning, creating a consistent language across the home’s exterior.

The awning features 50x150mm Clip Battens in French Walnut, while the facade and rear screen combine 50x50mm Clip Battens in Portland Stone with 25x25mm Clip Battens in French Walnut. The mix of earthy tones and varied batten profiles adds depth to the facade while complementing the home’s timber, stone and concrete palette.

With its open-plan living, indoor-outdoor flow and understated material palette, Saint Rocky’s captures a relaxed version of coastal living, warm, tactile and designed to age comfortably into its surroundings.
