Ocean Houses.

Hedges Ave, Mermaid Beach

Located on Mermaid Beach’s prestigious Hedges Avenue, Ocean Houses by Sandbox Properties is a collection of five luxury beachfront residences designed by TVS Architects and built by Mactech Constructions.

Knotwood aluminium battens play a key role in the exterior, adding the warmth of timber while providing the durability needed for a coastal environment. Resistant to moisture, salt air and UV exposure, Knotwood delivers a low-maintenance finish without compromising on appearance.

Paired with natural stone and expansive glazing, the timber-look battens add depth and texture to the façade, complementing the project’s contemporary coastal design.

Ocean Houses is an example of how high-performance materials and thoughtful architecture can create homes that are both visually striking and built to last.
