Vertical aluminium battens run floor to ceiling or wall to wall rather than horizontally across a frame, giving a linear pattern that draws the eye upward. Knotwood’s Stand-Up Battens use a three-part assembly, with a Base Plate fixed to the surface, the batten secured to it, and a Batten Bracket at the head, so no U-channel is needed.
The Base Plate fixes to the surface first, through the slots on its bottom face, then the batten’s inner face positions against the Base Plate’s larger face and secures through the slots there. A matching Batten Bracket presses into place on the open side until it clicks, closing the fixing. Repeat at consistent, pre-marked intervals for the full run.
