What fasteners should be used when installing Knotwood Clip Battens in a coastal or marine environment?

In marine and coastal environments, 316-grade stainless steel fasteners must be used throughout. An insulating barrier such as a rubber or neoprene washer is required between dissimilar metals to prevent galvanic corrosion. In non-marine zones, hot-dip galvanised fasteners may be used as an alternative to stainless steel.
